Baking with Lions: Malteaser Trayfreeze

Whaddup Lions and Lionesses,

Today I woke up and I wanted to write a post because I baked this awesome tasting Malteaser trayfreeze and I really really REALLY wanted to share it with you so that you can make it. It’s really easy to make all you need is.

100g Butter
225g Malteasers (obviously)
225g Digestives biscuits
3 Teaspoons of golden syrup
200g chocolate (depending on personal preference)
More Butter for lining a baking tin

1.Firstly you melt all of the golden syrup, chocolate and butter on a low to medium heat in a saucepan.

2. After everything has melted turn off the hob to let the saucepan and the mixture to cool down so that the Malteasers don’t melt.

3. Then put all the Digestives in a double plastic bag (a plastic bag inside another plastic bag if that makes sense) so that they don’t fall out. Then imagine the bitch that wronged you and crush the Digestives with a rolling pin, leaving a few big bits but not too many.

4. I personally added the Malteasers too early so the chocolate melted a little. But anyway mix the Malteasers and crushed digestives into the mixture until it looks unappetising like this.

5.Line a baking tin with butter, I personally used a silicone baking tin but you can do whatever you want with that

6.pour the mixture into the tin and put it into the fridge for a few hours to set.

7. Finally you eat it! (Trust me it tastes 100x better than it looks).

That’s the end of my baking tutorial I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you made this yourself and how much you liked it. As always like, comment, follow and spread the love.

Until next time,
The Lonely Lion
